Lili Reinhart Blasts Kim Kardashian For Starving Herself To Fit Into A Dress For Met Gala

Lili Reinhart, a Hollywood actress, has chastised celebrities who glamorize hazardous conduct to maintain their brand persona.

The actress lambasted celebrities who prioritize the Met Gala’s “disgusting” glitz and glam over their own wellbeing and boldly talk about it, fooling sensitive followers.

Although she didn’t say who she was referring to, it’s evident she was pointing to reality TV star Kim Kardashian, who made news for her significant weight loss of 16 pounds to squeeze into a Met gala gown, which Marilyn Monroe wore at John F. Kennedy’s birthday dinner in May 1962.

On the red carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in Manhattan, the reality star, 41, told La La Anthony that reaching her weight goal was “like a role.” She was determined to achieve the appearance and did so by abstaining from sugar and other carbohydrates for three weeks.

In a now-deleted Instagram story, Lili Reinhart said, “To walk a red carpet and do an interview where you say how starving you are… because you haven’t eaten carbs in the last month…all to fit in a f–king dress?

“So wrong. So f–ked on 100s of levels.

“To openly admit to starving yourself for the sake of the Met Gala. When you know very well that millions of young men and women are looking up to you and listening to your every word. The ignorance is other-worldly disgusting.”

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
