Lolo1 Calls On Africans To Reconnect with Ancestral Spiritual Practices

Nollywood Actress and media celebrity Omotunde Adebowale-David also known as Lolo1 has urged Africans to quit ignoring ancient religions in favor of more popular ones like Islam and Christianity.

The OAP and cultural advocate stated in the most recent episode of the Say My Piece podcast that many people no longer recognize the presence of indigenous spiritual traditions since they are so frequently disregarded or ignored.

Do you know that a lot of us , even myself, don’t think that there are other religions asides Christianity and Islam. I think it’s an error on our part because the fact that we don’t think that there are means we’ve shut them out and removed their voices and we amplify the voice of what we know

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
