Man Arrested For Killing His Female Employer In Abuja

The Federal Capital Territory FCT Police Command has detained one Abraham Aliyu for the suspected murder of his employer, Mrs. Dzuma Jidayi.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Haruna Garba, made the announcement while escorting 43 suspects to the command headquarters on Tuesday, November 28, 2023.

The culprit, who had been on the run, committed the horrible act on October 10, 2023, in the Garki section of the territory, according to the CP.

Mrs Dzuma was initially believed to have been stabbed to death.

According to the commissioner, a preliminary investigation found that the suspect was working in the deceased’s water plant when he killed her with an iron rod.

“On 12/11/2023, police operatives from the Homicide section finally arrested one Abraham Aliyu who has been on the run after killing one Mrs Dzuma Jidaji at CBN Quarters Garki on 10/10/2023,” the police boss stated.

“Investigation revealed that the suspect was an employee of the deceased and worked in her water factory.

“It happened that the suspect in the course of his duties caused damage to the water pipe. Hence the deceased seized his salary to effect repairs of the damaged pipe.

“This development angered the suspect, and he hit the deceased woman on the head with an iron rod, which resulted in her death.

“The suspect, sensing that her madam had died, stole her handset, a bag containing her ATM cards and some cash and ran away from the scene.

“The long arm of the law caught up with him and he was arrested a few weeks after committing the act. He has since confessed to the crime and will be arraigned in court.”

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
