Marriage Is Not Do Or Die – Yul Edochie Advises Couples

In lieu of using domestic violence, Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has advised couples to end their marriage if it isn’t working.

Edochie was responding to a case involving a man named Sunday Nwanna who, in Abagana, Njikoka Local Government Area, Anambra State, is accused of setting his wife on fire due to an affair.

He advised couples to leave their partner because adultery is not an excuse for hurting them.

“If your marriage is not working, let go. Let go. Walk away.

“I saw the video of the lady that was burnt by her husband & it broke my heart.

“Those having marital issues, listen up: Even if you catch your wife with another man, there’s no justification for harming her.

“If you catch your husband with another woman, there can be no justification for harming him.

“Don’t kill another human being because of marriage.

“Marriage is not do or die. Walk away,” Edochie said.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
