Matt Hancock Admits He Received £45,000 For Appearing On The Celebrity SAS Show

It has been reported that Matt Hancock received £45,000 (€52,000) for his appearance on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins.

In an update to the MPs’ Register of Interests that was issued on Wednesday, the former UK health secretary disclosed the payment.

The entry also showed that he spent 80 hours recording the show between September 24 and October 8 while the UK Parliament was on break, just before flying to Australia to participate in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

The Advisory Committee on Business Appointments (Acoba), which reviews former ministers’ appointments, also criticized him for not consulting it before making his TV appearances.

It’s anticipated that his episode of Celebrity SAS will premiere in 2023.
