McDonald’s Worker Shot In The Neck For Serving Cold French Fries

An argument over cold French fries has resulted in the shooting of a McDonald’s employee in Brooklyn, New York.

Around 7 o’clock in the evening, the 23-year-old victim was working at the fast food restaurant at 1531 Fulton St. in Bedford-Stuyvesant, when a female customer began harassing him over her fries on Monday, August 1.

FaceTiming her 20-year-old son during the quarrel about her fries being cold, the woman’s son soon went into the restaurant and started fighting with the employee.

On Tuesday, August 2, police reported that after a fight outside the restaurant, the son pulled a gun and shot the employee in the neck.

At this time, the man is at the hospital battling for his life.

A witness to the incident, who owns a shop nearby said, “I feel like crying. You shot someone over French fries?”

Another witness said, “The co-workers, they were around [the victim]. They were on their phones, and they were crying.

“A man took off his shirt and put it on the neck to try to stop the bleeding. [The victim’s] right eye was swollen shut.

“He couldn’t talk, he was just shaking. His chest was heaving. He was still breathing when they put him on the stretcher.”

On Tuesday, sources claimed that the victim’s condition at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn was still very critical.

On the steps leading to the hospital’s emergency department entrance, his grieving family and friends were seen mourning and consoling one another on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the police, one 9mm bullet was found at the scene, and the gunman had been apprehended. Charges, however, have not yet been made.

The alleged shooter has a history of arrests, including ones for grand larceny in 2019 and for assault and service theft in 2018.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
