Meghan Reportedly “Placed Hands On Diana’s Grave And Asked For Guidance”

On the 20th anniversary of Diana, Princess of Wales’ passing, Meghan Markle knelt, placed her hands on her grave, and prayed to her for “clarity and wisdom,” according to the Duke of Sussex.

In his contentious autobiography Spare, Harry claimed that in 2017, he and Meghan traveled by rowboat to the Althorp estate’s island where his mother was buried.

He could tell that Meghan needed some alone time near the location in Northamptonshire after some time of reflection.

According to a story from the MailOnline, “when I returned, she was on her knees with her eyes closed and her palms flat against the stone,” Harry wrote, adding that she told him she had asked Diana for “clarity and guidance”.

The BBC reports that the memoir contains numerous references to the princess and is deeply tinged with unresolved grief. It is dedicated to Diana, Meghan, and his children Archie and Lili.

The princess died in a car crash in Paris when the duke was just 12 years old.

Harry calls his mother “mummy” and claims that his father, who is now the King, did not give him a hug when he told him Diana had passed away while sitting on his bed.

Additionally, the Duke stated that a woman with “powers” told him that Diana had sent him a message suggesting that he is “living the life she couldn’t.”

Following recommendations from friends, he went to see the woman, who informed him that his mother is “with” him, that she is aware of his need for clarification, and that she “feels” his perplexity.

In excerpts from an interview he gave to Good Morning America to promote his book, Harry said that Diana would have been “sorry” about the breakdown in their relationship.

“I have felt the presence of my mum more so in the last two years than I have in the last 30,” he told the US show.

In the couple’s engagement interview in 2017, Harry and Meghan both spoke of how Diana was still with them.

Harry, who proposed to Meghan with a ring made from diamonds from the princess’s collection, said: “You know, with the ring and with everything else that’s going on, I’m sure she’s with us, you know, jumping up and down somewhere else.”

Meghan echoed his thoughts, saying: “She’s with us.”
