Mercy Johnson Questions God As Her Father Passes On

The death of the father is the most painful moment in our life. The sad truth is, only the person who lost his father can feel how unbearable the pain is; no one else can feel it. It is a tough time for Nollywood actress, Mercy Johnson Okojie and her family as they mourn the death of her father, Ametuo Daniel Johnson.

In a heartbreaking post on her Instagram page, the mother of four vowed to keep asking God for the rest of her life why he took her father’s life.

She stated that she doesn’t think she will ever understand why God took him away from her and even if He (God) ever responds, she doesn’t think she would accept it.

Mercy Johnson, who is in pain, described the pain of loosing her father as the greatest pain of all.

Bading him goodnight, she wrote,

“For the rest of my life Daddy, I will keep asking God why? I don’t think I will never understand why he has taken you from me. And if he responds, I don’t even think I will accept it.

They say love saves but my love did not keep you here with us. The great pain I feel now is the greatest pain of all.

Rest In Peace my gentle father, NWO Johnson Ametuo Daniel D.A Johnson. God clearly loves you more, that’s the only explanation that makes any sense to me”.

My heart goes out to you in this sorrowful time of yours. May your dad rest in peace.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
