Messi Reportedly Unhappy With PSG For Ignoring His Advice

Lionel Messi, a key player for PSG, is upset with Nasser Al-Khelaifi’s decision to forgo signing Jordi Alba, a star player for Barcelona, this summer.

Barcelona was reportedly keen to sell the Spain international this summer, with manager Xavi using him so little this season.

The manager is said to prefer Alejandro Balde, a 19-year-old, over the experienced left-back.

Alba has only started once in three La Liga games so far, with his future at the club remaining uncertain, and Messi asked the Parisians to sign the Spaniard while being aware of the Catalan team’s efforts to offload the player.

However, Al-Khelaifi believes that Alba’s performance levels over the past several years have not been particularly outstanding even though the left-back is getting closer to retirement, according to a separate report from El Nacional.

Messi had a challenging first year in Paris, but he now appears to have completely adjusted to life there.
