Mike Bamiloye Defends Pastor Adeboye After Apology Over Tithe

Following the recent controversy involving Pastor E.A. Adeboye’s remarks regarding tithing, filmmaker and evangelist Mike Bamiloye has risen to the defense of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

Bamiloye used social media to respond to criticism of Pastor Adeboye’s prior remarks about the practice, which he had apologized for.

Adeboye had apologized for his statement that individuals who fail to pay their tithe will not enter heaven. He claims to have realized facts against such an idea in the Bible.

Bamiloye responded by emphasizing that Adeboye’s repentance was the outcome of divine discipline and praising his humility for stepping up openly. He emphasized that it takes considerable humility for a leader of Adeboye’s global reputation to recognize mistakes and apologize in accordance to God’s command, urging followers to focus on the larger spiritual lesson rather than criticizing the apology.

Bamiloye, quoting 1 Corinthians 2:14, stated that spiritual topics are frequently misunderstood by those who do not share the same faith and knowledge, saying, “it is beyond their reasoning.” He went on to say that Christians, particularly those who believe in Christ’s second coming, should support Adeboye’s demand for more generosity.

Bamiloye also urged other men of God to consider any words or deeds that God had reprimanded them for in secret and to emulate Adeboye by making amends in public when needed. He reminded everyone at the end that becoming saved and going to Heaven should come before ego and pride.

“It is wrong to limit you to 10%
At a time when some of you should be at 20%, 30%, 40%.
10% should be for Beginners.
You want to be the One at the top?,
If you are the one who would control finances, you will have to go far far beyond 10%.”

“I NEVER NEVER EVER EXPECT THE CHILDREN OF THIS WORLD TO UNDERSTAND THE PRINCIPLES OF THE KINGDOM.
It is beyond their Reasoning.

“But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned”.

“But if you are a Child of the kingdom of God, going to Heaven and Expecting the Coming of Jesus Christ, I DO NOT expect you to have problems with those statement.
BUT IF YOU STILL DO HAVE PROBLEMS WITH WHAT BABA SAID, then your Spiritual Sanctification is very Doubtful.

“You think it is easy for a man of such Global Status to come out in the open to apologize, if God had not Corrected Him in the secret?
It is only a Person who has Heaven in Focus and Eternity in Heaven in view that would count it important to do that.

“If you like, make jest of him,
If you like Drag him on the ground for doing what the Lord had instructed him to do.
BABA HAS HEAVEN IN HIS FOCUS and that is why he doesnt care about Earthly Honor or human ego.

“IT TAKES HUMILITY FOR A MAN OF GLOBAL STATUS AS THIS TO COME OUT AND APOLOGIZE.

“Only God could have spoken to such man.
Because, God resist the Proud but gives grace to the Humble. (James 4:6).

What have you said openly that the Lord has corrected you in secret?
What have you done openly that the Lord has corrected you Secretly?
And what have you done e secretly, that the Lord had instructed you to confess openly?
What Restitution has the Lord told you to make that your Pride and Ego are still depriving you from making?

“If you are serving the Lord with Fear and Trembling, and you are Eagerly looking towards getting to Heaven peacefully,
GO AND DO WHAT THE LORD TOLD YOU TO DO!
If the Lord has told you to make Open Apology or Confession,
You better go and do it now before it is too late.
GETTING TO HEAVEN IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN ALL YOUR PRIDE AND EGO!”
