Mohbad’s Father Expresses Dissatisfaction With Police Investigation On Son’s Death

Late Mohbad’s father, Mr Joseph Aloba, has expressed dissatisfaction with the police investigations into circumstances surrounding his son’s death.

He called on the government to urgently step up the conclusion of the case which many people are anxiously waiting to get its report on.

The bereaved dad made the call in an exclusive interview with Trust TV on Wednesday, weeks after the prime suspects in the matter, Naira Marley and Sam Larry were granted bail.

Alba said he expected police to have released the autopsy reports by now or they should have followed him to Mohbad’s house to search for clues.

He said; “I am not satisfied with the police investigation. A lot of things have been said outside which are not right. When I carried Mohbad’s body to the police station, I expected that they would follow me to search his house or give me the police (autopsy) report which they had not given me. Those are the areas I am not satisfied with”.

The musician’s father stated that he wanted the investigation to be thorough, hence why there is a need for police authorities to invite people who were living with Mohbad.

“They should ask them questions. Through searching their phones, they would know what killed Mohbad. A lot of people were living with him. So I am not satisfied with the investigation.

“We are still looking for justice….Delay can result in denial. I am begging the government to put more effort so that things can go on fine as people expect,” Mr Aloba added.

There really can be no #peace without #justice. There can be no justice without truth. And there can be no truth, unless someone rises up to tell us the truth and trust me when I say we want nothing but the truth….
