Mother Allegedly Be@ts 11-yr-old Daughter To De@th Over Missing N100

A woman known only as Khadija has reportedly beaten her 11-year-old daughter, Fadila, to de@th in Zaria, Kaduna state, over a missing N100.

Leadership states that Khadija accused Fadila of stealing money given to her during the Sallah festivities. In a moment of fury, the mother allegedly grabbed an object and started striking the girl, leading to the child’s death.

Some neighbors claimed that Khadija was notorious for repeatedly beating Fadila over trivial matters, especially those concerning the street hawking the deceased girl was involved in.

The father of the deceased, Malam Mustapha Musa, said he was at work when the tragedy took place.

Mustapha noted that he only came back home to the heartbreaking news of his daughter’s death and had since taken her body to their hometown in Kano State for burial.

Khadija confessed to striking Fadila but maintained that she had no intention of k!lling her, attributing her actions to “severe stress” she was experiencing at the time.

Local vigilante members were the first to respond to the incident before transferring the case to the police for further investigation.
