Motherhood: How To Teach Children To Trust In Their Own Judgment 1

Good day, Great Mothers! Today, we are discussing a fantastic and crucial subject. We may begin to ask ourselves if it is right to teach our kids to believe in their own judgment. We may be worried that we are instilling in them a sense of pride or encouraging them to disregard other people’s opinions. No!

By encouraging our kids to trust their judgment, we are helping them develop self-confidence and independence. By empowering them to rely on their own judgment, you can prevent them from succumbing to peer pressure and from being distracted or carried away by the immorality of today’s society, and try to live by them. Instead, you can encourage them to develop their own values based on the principles of the Bible and the ones you have instilled in them at home and to live by those values.

In my last article, we discussed that mothers are their children’s first teachers in my last essay. Therefore, as we are our children’s first teachers, it is our duty to instill in them a sense of self-confidence from an early age because this will benefit them as they mature into adolescence. Nowadays, it’s not unusual to see teenagers make choices that could ruin their life. but refused to pay attention or comply when advised. This is due to the fact that they want to be accepted by their friends and will therefore do whatever to fit in, even if it means jeopardizing their future, in order to do so.

We must never lose sight of the reality that educating a child means preparing them for life, giving them the tools they’ll need to weather any storms they may encounter in the future, and teaching them how to tell right from wrong. Being a mother is a challenging endeavor that necessitates both perseverance and determination. In addition, despite our natural tendency to want to always assist them, teaching them how to seek solutions is usually more important than providing them those solutions.

More on this would be covered in my next article.
