The three most important things we can provide our kids are love, acceptance, and security. Naturally, we love their children. However, love is a verb as well as a noun. So, we are meant to not only say that we do but also express our love to our children through our actions.

There are simple ways of showing your child your affection, and that feeling of a parent’s love can enhance every aspect of their life.

Amy Morin, a Psychotherapist says that Love and security give our children the freedom to just be kids and need not worry about adult issues. She further explained that when children feel saved and loved, they tend to concentrate more on learning and creativity.

Showing our children love and care has a great benefits for our kids’ growth and development, Some of them have been discussed, and others are;

Reduces the child’s fear of failure

Children of overly enthusiastic mothers experience less security than children of devoted mothers. Such kids later have a dread of failing which makes them feel insecure in their surroundings. Children who grow up with mothers who hold them to extremely high standards and who are harsh with them are afraid to try new things for fear of failing.

Mothers who are fond of their children based on their test results may do it in a way that negatively impacts the child’s social and intellectual development. Sensitive mothers will advise their children to develop their skills for their enjoyment and development, not to compete with others. Expressing love and care to our children is a solid and reliable foundation for them. So, ensure you instill courage and entice them to take chances through the way you express your love.
