Motherhood: Raising A Godly Child In An Ungodly World 14

Hello, Great Mothers!
Parenting is difficult. There is no doubt about that. Raising Godly children in this modern time is very challenging. The world is always eager to alter the morals and thinking of our children at every opportunity.

Our children face challenges that we did not face as much when we were growing up. They are compelled to ignore moral values for what is invoked. The world teaches them that morality does not matter as long as it is invoked. The world teaches them that it does not have to conform to the standard of God, as long as it is invoked, The world teaches them that they have to ignore moral standards/ Godly standards and flow with them if they have to be relevant in the society. The world imposes its values and views on our children, from dating to clothing choices. Much has been discussed on this in my previous articles.

Are we going to fold our hands and allow the world to destroy the nature of God in our children? Are we going to keep on looking the other way while the world fulfills its agenda in the life of our children, instead of the agenda of God being fulfilled in their lives? Are we going to be too busy to rise and take up the responsibilities God entrusted into our hands? The responsibilities of raising Godly children who will fulfill His purpose in different sectors of the world. Raising children who will live for Christ no matter their profession when they become adults.

For instance, have you wondered why a respected professor is messing up with girls old enough to be his daughter? A professional fashion designer who focussed on designing only dresses that promote nudity. A sane person mates with an animal for fun or money. Now is the time for all parents, especially we mothers to rise and take up our responsibilities of instilling in our children Godly values from their childhood, and they will not depart from it as they grow.

We have come to the end of this series. Interesting and informative, isn’t it? Watch out for my next article on another sensitive topic of motherhood.
