Motherhood: Raising A Godly Child In An Ungodly World 4

Hello Great Mothers!

Immorality is on the rise in our contemporary society because it believes it is too intelligent for God and that it can determine how to live. This has resulted in a breakdown in society, as well as several social issues. Violence, immoral dressing, sexual immorality, drug use, and suicide are all on the rise and are being celebrated. The more important it is for us to raise our children in the way of the Lord from an early age so that they can confidently make a lifestyle decision in line with that of Christ.

In my previous article, it was discussed that the onus lies more on us as mothers to nurture the image and likeness of God in our children so that they can live lifestyles in conformity to that of Christ. The first nature of God which we are supposed to nurture in our child was discussed.

The second one is the Moral Being(Morality).

We are like Christ in our Moral Body. Morality refers to a certain set of standards and rules governing conduct. It entails taking care of their body (fashion), as well as the earth/environment (cleanliness). It is the guiding principle that distinguishes between appropriate and inappropriate behavior. We must assist our kids in developing moral principles and values. It is our responsibility to help our children develop good behavior, this will help them overcome peer pressure. This Image Of Christ needs to be nurtured so that it eon.t be corrupted by the world

The third one is Free- will.

Free will is something that each of us has. This is the capacity to make decisions independently. It is the capacity to decide amongst potential causes of action. We must raise our children to make choices that are in accordance with God’s laws and values rather than those of the world.
