Motherhood: Teaching Children How To Pray 7

Hello Great Mothers!

One of the responsibilities of a mother is to introduce them to prayers early in life. This serves as a means of introducing them to Jesus and helping strengthen their relationship with God. Our Lord gave us prayer so that we might speak with him, and teaching kids to pray helps them realize that God is always nearby and reachable.

As discussed in previous articles, praying in the presence of your children is the ideal approach to start teaching your kids about prayer. Find opportunities to pray in front of them, just as you would look for opportunities to teach them about etiquette, or humility. While prayer in the morning and at night is a popular and worthwhile practice, God wants us to turn to him with anything and at any time, so teach your children that prayer can be made anytime during the day, and night for a variety of needs.

In this article, we would continue by discussing the importance of teaching children how to pray early in life.

When you teach your child how to pray at a very early stage of his/her life, they learn the:

1)The significance of God’s unique and significant responses to prayers:
Jeremiah 33:3 says, “if you call out to me, I will respond and reveal to you wonderful, unsearchable things that you are unaware of” Our kids doi consult us or their friends for advice. The lesson here is that the only perfect advice comes from God. This is one of the most crucial lessons about life that we need to teach our children. The only way to get God’s answers is through “calling on him.” His responses are special wisdom.

By teaching our children how to pray, we teach them to look to God for the “hidden” solutions that can only be “known” via prayers. When we do this, we “wean” our children spiritually. And they will keep this lesson in their mind throughout their lives.

Wow! Teaching children how to pray is very important.

“A lot of companies have chosen to downsize, and maybe that was the right thing for them. We chose a different path. Our belief was that if we kept putting great products in front of customers, they would continue to open their wallets.”
