My Parents Instilled In Me A Belief In Love, But As An Adult, I Was Shown A Different Picture – Young Jonn

John Saviours Udomboso, a.k.a. Young Jonn, is a Nigerian singer-producer who has talked up about his childhood beliefs.

He claimed that growing up, observing his parents gave him the belief that true love exists, but as an adult, he now views things differently.

In a conversation with Saige Jones regarding his background and adjusting to a new reality outside of it, Young John revealed this.

Young John said; “I grew up in a religious home. Both my mum and dad were pastors. My mum had a school. She was a psychologist. So I grew up in a religious background. I started my music career as a church drummer and keyboardist.

“When I was really young, I believed in love so much because of what I used to see between my parents, before I grew up and saw the world is a lot different than that.

“My family was a very closed one until everybody got busy with life. And life happened. My mum is late now. We lost her to cancer. It happened a while ago. I’m over it now.”
