“My Son May Kill Deontay Wilder In Another Fight” – Tyson Fury’s Father

Tyson Fury’s father believes his son may end up killing Deontay Wilder if they engage in another boxing match after three previous meetings.

Fury and Wilder squared off three times between 2018 and 2021, with the first contest ending in a draw and the Gypsy King winning all of their subsequent fights via knockout.

While negotiations for an undisputed heavyweight fight between Fury and Oleksandr Usyk are currently underway, there are rumours that his team has also held private discussions with Wilder’s representatives about a fourth fight taking place at Wembley.

Reacting to the report, according to Tyson Fury’s father, John Fury, it would be a terrible idea for the American to survive another fight with the WBC heavyweight champion.

Fury Sr told The Mirror courtesy of Freebets.com, “I’m worried about him fighting Wilder because I’m afraid of him killing Wilder.

“Wilder’s got a cracked skull, his skull is cracked like an egg. That kind of thing can’t be repaired so if Tyson hits him again he could kill him.

“So I’ve said ‘unless you want a funeral on your hands and the death of Deontay Wilder keep from him’.

“He’s beat him three times, massacred him each time. He beat him [in the controversial draw] when he’d just lost eight stone and been out of the ring for three years.

“He poses no threat, the only danger he poses is Tyson killing him. That danger and smoke, we don’t want, let him go faff about with these blokes he can hit once and they’ll lay on the floor and carry on, he’s no good to Tyson. I don’t want to go to my grave knowing that my son’s killed somebody.”

Tyson Luke Fury is an English professional boxer who was born on August 12, 1988. He has held the WBC heavyweight title since defeating Deontay Wilder in 2020. He has also won the title twice.
