Netizens React When French President Emmanuel Macron Gets Slapped Again

Nigerians have reacted to a video of French President Emmanuel Macron being beaten.

A video circulating on social media shows Macron being slapped in the face by a woman. The incide reportedly occurred on Sunday, November 20, 2022. Security forces quickly dragged the woman out while another held President Macron in custody.

It is recalled that the President has suffered the same fate in June 2021 after he was slapped by a man identified as 28-year-old Damien Tarel. Revealing his motive behind the slap, Tarel said he thought about throwing an egg or a cream tart at Emmanuel Macron but added the slap was not premeditated.

Tarel was sentenced to prison for eighteen months, however, fourteen was suspended as he only served four.
