An immigration source at the border between Nigeria and the Benin Republic has described how crossdresser Bobrisky was detained at the Seme border today, October 21, while having his passport checked.
According to Premiumtimes, an immigration source informed the website that Bobrisky was taken into custody at midnight and held there till this morning. He has since been transferred to the NIS’s Lagos zone in Ikeja.
‘He was arrested at midnight and detained until this morning, and he’s currently being moved to the Lagos zone of the NIS in Ikeja. He gave his passport to someone to stamp it for him, so, the officer saw the name immediately among others and requested that he should come down from the vehicle.”the source said
Due to bribery-related charges, Bobrisky is the subject of an ongoing investigation by the Nigerian Correctional Service, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, and a House of Representatives committee.
