Nick Cannon Says He “Doesn’t Know” If He Will Have More Children

Nick Cannon, the father of 11 children and a 12th baby on the way, says he’s “not sure” if he can have more children.

While speaking to media personality; Tetris Kelly about his career, Nick Cannon on the red carpet at the Billboard Live: R&B/Hip-Hop Power Players event spoke about his large family. He shared,

“That’s my No. 1 priority. I wake up being a father thinking about my kids and everything else comes after that,”

He added, “My kids are definitely the creative force in all that I do. They’re the funniest, most innovative, best questions…every project I’m working on now is through their eyes.”

When asked if he plans to have children after the birth of his 12th, Nick replied,

“I don’t know, man. I have no idea. I think I’m good right now!”

Since divorcing Mariah Carey in 2016, the Masked singer host has had nine more children with five women. Birth announcements are shared publicly by Nick and each of the expectant women, usually through elaborate maternity photos and gender reveals His co-parenting partners include Brittney Bell, mother of Golden Sagon, 5, Powerful Queen, 1, and Rise, 3 months. Abby De La Rosa, mother of twins Zion and Zillionaire, and 1-week-old Beautiful Zeppelin. Bre Tiesi, mother of 5-month-old Legendary Love. Lanisha Cole, mother of 2-month-old Onyx. Nick and Alyssa Scott lost their son, Zen, in 2021 to brain cancer. They are currently expecting the birth of their second child together.

Seven children were born within the last two years. Cannon said in 2012 that he wanted his children to “grow up helping others.”

Nick Cannon’s decision to have multiple children by different women has sparked countless controversies. He even attributed his successful career to his children.

“My kids are definitely the creative force in all that I do. They’re the funniest, most innovative, best questions…every project I’m working on now is through their eyes.”
