Nigeria Police Force Deploys Men Ahead Of Court Election Decision

The Nigeria Police Force says it has strengthened its deployment across the country in order to fortify security architecture and prevent a breakdown in law and order as a result of the forthcoming Presidential Election Petition Tribunal Judgment, which is scheduled to be passed on Wednesday, September 6, 2023.

The police, through their spokesperson, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, reassured Nigerians of their commitment to ensuring the protection of persons and property before, during, and after the judgment.

‘’The NPF has diligently emplaced all necessary deployments and security measures during this critical period as officers and men are fully prepared to maintain order and enforce laws while respecting the rights and freedoms of all citizens,” the statement read.

The statement further adds that the police “strongly cautions all individuals, including mischief makers and political gladiators, to be cautious in their actions and statements as the Force will not condone activities capable of inciting violence or causing a descent into anarchy. It is imperative for all citizens to embrace peace and maintain calm, regardless of their political affiliations, to ensure a peaceful and secure environment.”

The Nigeria Police Force states that it is committed to performing its duties of safeguarding and serving the Nigerian people with professionalism, impartiality, and uttermost dedication.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
