President Muhammadu Buhari will address the nation on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at 7 AM as part of the commemoration of the nation’s 62nd Independence Anniversary.

The information was announced in a brief statement on Friday that was signed by Femi Adesina, a senior Special Assistant to the President.

It is advised that for the broadcast, television, radio stations, and other electronic media outlets connect to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Radio Nigeria.

Buhari will be delivering his final Independence Day speech to Nigerians on October 1, 2022, while serving as president of the country, as he will be leaving office in 2023 after serving for the previous eight years.
