The well-known Nollywood actress Lilian Afegbai has disclosed that, even from her closest friends, she keeps her personal life and relationships completely private.
The actress claimed in an interview with Unfiltered and Extra Spicy that she is inherently private and does not feel the need to divulge personal information to others.
“In real life, I do not discuss my relationship or my private life with my friends.
“I am a very secretive person, and I do not care if you say I am not trustworthy, but I will not discuss my personal life with you,” she said.
Lilian added that many people misunderstand her because of the number of friends she has.
“People assume because I have plenty of friends, they think I am close to everybody. I am not like that at all,” she explained.
When asked what shaped her guarded personality, the actress pointed to childhood experiences.
“I just have serious trust issues from childhood trauma. I am even tackling it now by seeing a therapist, and I am still a work in progress,” she added.
