Nigerian Lady Sets Out On 150-Hour Painting Marathon To Break Guinness World Record

A young Nigerian artist named Olivea Lawson has started an effort to set a new Guinness World Record for the longest painting marathon.

Commencing on July 21st, the Paint-A-Thon would continue continuously until July 27th, 2025.

Nigerian and international art and cultural fans have already begun to take notice of the quest.

The Rivers State native visual artist is gaining admirers for both her audacious stance and her artistic ability.

According to Holiveah, a well-known visual artist from Bonny Island, the occasion transcends individual aspirations.

“This is about empowering youth, especially women, and showing that with talent and consistency, we can achieve global recognition,” she noted.
