Nigerian Men Narrate How Rich and Prominent Men Tried Snatching Their Partners In Public (See Tweets)

Several Nigerian men have turned to Twitter to tell stories about how rich and prominent guys tried to steal their women despite her being in a relationship.

On Sunday, March 13, a Twitter user, @Ambrosia Ijebu used the social platform to narrate how a particular prominent man delivered a note to his girlfriend at a party they both attended, asking to fly her out of the country the same night.

The man said, “I was once at a public party in Lagos with my babe at the time and a famous Naija big man (who will remain unnamed) sent her a note saying: “I’m heading to New York tonight, plane is waiting. Let’s go”. True story. Yes, she was a hot, tall Igbo babe.”

Other Twitter users then joined the discussion, sharing personal stories about how wealthy men attempted to snatch their girlfriends.

One said, “A Man I call Boss, work my ass off for him, corner my baby back then wan go knack her. The painful thing is that I was in the office with him when he was making hotel reservations to go pieces my baby. Made D mistake of introducing her to my Boss. Thank God for growth Sha.”

Another user said, “Sometime in 2010, took my girl to the club in Bonny Island. Met a couple of my “big colleagues’ and mumu me went to greet them. One of them scribbled his number and slipped it into my girl’s bag while I wasn’t looking. She showed me when we returned home.”

A third person said, “A friend told me about a similar story he witnessed. A guy took his hot babe to a joint, and a chairman kept sending these boys to her to no avail. When she and bobo were dancing, chairman came and started spraying her dollars, the straw that broke the camel’s back.”

Another user then pointed out that there are only “four people that can easily have a guy’s babe…The Ex, her boss, her bestie, and her landlord.”
