Nigerian Woman Set To Break Guinness World Record For Longest Massage On Different People

Nigerian masseuse; Joyce Ijeoma aims to break the current Guinness World Record for the longest massage on different individuals for 72 hours in Lekki, Lagos State.

Alastair Galpin, who broke 38 world records and is the second-largest Guinness World Records breaker of the 2000s decade, presently holds the record for the longest full-body massage, which took place in South Kalimantan, Indonesia, in November 2015. It lasted 25 hours and 4 minutes.

Ijeoma’s goal to break the existing Guinness World Record for the longest massage on several people was made clear in a video that went viral on Sunday.

She claims that to prepare for her record-breaking streak, she massaged for more than 18 hours.

Ijeoma requested support from the public on her Instagram page.

“A special invite to you all as I attempt to set a new record for the longest massage on different individuals. Please come through for me.

“Your support and physical presence would be very much appreciated. Come with your family friends even your enemies,” she wrote.

Fellow Nigerian, Hilda Baci in June 2023 confirmed the receipt of her Guinness World Record plaque for the longest cooking marathon.

Hilda, 26, was on June 13 officially declared the Guinness World Record holder for the longest cooking marathon with a time of 93 hours 11 minutes.

GWR officially announced the young chef as its latest record holder in the cooking category in a statement, saying, “Following a thorough review of all the evidence, Guinness World Records can now confirm that Hilda Effiong Bassey, better known as Hilda Baci, has officially broken the record for the longest cooking marathon (individual), with a time of 93 hours 11 minutes.”
