Nnamdi Kanu’s Family Demand Proof Of Life As DSS Refuses Access To Him On Two Occasions

The family of incarcerated Indigenous People of Biafra leader Nnamdi Kanu has expressed new fears about his safety, claiming that the Department of State Services refused them from seeing him.

According to a court order by Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court in Abuja, Nnamdi Kanu is to be permitted to meet with his lawyers and family members twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays.

Prince Emmanuel Kanu, Kanu’s younger brother, stated he was at the DSS headquarters in Abuja, where the IPOB leader was being held but was not permitted to meet him.

Prince, who claimed he was at the secret police headquarters on Thursday to meet his brother as ordered by the court but was denied entrance, raised concern about the cause for DSS’s move.

He said on Facebook, “I have Been Denied Access To See Mazi Nnamdi Kanu (IPOB Leader) on Two Separate Occasions At The Department Of State Security Services Abuja.

“As Lawless As The DSS Is, It Goes To Show That Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s Life Is In Grave Danger. It Remains The Order Of The Court That Mazi Nnamdi Kanu (IPOB Leader) Must Be Seen Twice Weekly, Mondays, And Thursday.

“Why Can’t I See Him? Has He Been Killed Or Poisoned? There Must Be Proof Of Life. We Demand a Prove Of Life.”
