Nottingham Forest Hit With 4-Point Deduction

Nottingham Forest has been docked four points for violating the Profit and Sustainability regulations of the Premier League.

With 21 points, one point behind Luton in 17th place in the Premier League standings, The Forest has officially fallen into the relegation zone.

Everton, a team in the Premier League that had already lost 10 points this season, and Forest were both accused of breaking spending restrictions in January 2024.

Later on in the campaign, the punishment was lowered to six points, but Forest has now experienced a similar outcome.

Before the announcement, Forest was only three points ahead of Luton in 18th position. The Hatters had to battle back for a late 1-1 draw against Nuno Espirito Santo’s team on Saturday in order to remain in close proximity.

Prior to the game on Saturday, a hearing was held last Thursday and Friday to determine the punishment the club would get.

Since joining the English Premier League again at the beginning of 2022–2023—Forest has been extremely extravagant with its expenditures.

Up to 43 players have arrived at the City Ground since then for more than £250 million.

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.
