WEDNESDAY OF THE SEVENTEENTH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME YEAR B – 28/7/2021

READINGS:  Exodus 34:29-35: Moses passed on to the people the orders given by the Lord.

Psalm 98(99):5-7,9: You are holy, O Lord our God.

Matthew 13:44-46: He sells everything he owns and buys the field.

REFLECTION

Our God is all holy, all powerful and all knowing. His fullness of Godhead is our unfailing inexhaustible treasure-house. He makes the unsullied garment of life our covering beauty. To be sanctified and made holy must be our aim so that as mirror reflects an image so we must be seen from that perspective reflecting the Heavenly Father’s attributes; His holiness, His love, His compassion, His mercy and every perfection He has fashioned. As christians we must be charged in the holiness and faithfulness of God not haphazardly but entirely. The grace of God must reach the very center of our being so that divine operators can be carried out through us to others. Let the radiance of God’s glory shine through us today as we go about doing His will. Amen

Holy most Holy is the Lord our God!
Heaven and earth are full of your glory!
You are holy O Lord our God!

Fr. Joseph Osho, OSJ.
