Omoni Oboli’s Advice To Women About Marriage

Omoni Oboli, an actress and Nollywood filmmaker, has advocated for marriage and given women advice on what to consider before getting married.

Omoni claimed in a Monday interview with Instablog9ja that a woman’s marital status can have an impact on her work.

“The first thing i would say is ‘marry someone who believes in your dreams and your goals’ because if you don’t that would really detail you in terms of your career,” she said.

“It’s not about how much money a man has or how many gifts he gives you. Marry someone who is kind. It’s not about how much money a man has or how many gifts he’s giving you or the trips he’s taking you on, is he a kind person?,”she stated.

“If he’s not kind, you’re really going to suffer later so you have to be very sure that the man is going to support your dreams and goals. Make sure he is kind and if you get these two things right, everything else would fall in place. My advice to new mums would be to take care of your kids best you can. Make sure that you have your eyes on them because the internet is a very dangerous place. I wish all mothers would not give their kids devices early in life,” she said.

“A lot of companies have chosen to downsize, and maybe that was the right thing for them. We chose a different path. Our belief was that if we kept putting great products in front of customers, they would continue to open their wallets.”
