Osun Elections: “When Will You Congratulate My Uncle,” Davido Questions Governor Oyetola

David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has questioned the outgoing governor of Osun, Gboyega Oyetola, on when he will congratulate his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, on his victory.

On Saturday, August 6, 2022, the musician confronted the governor on his Twitter account.

He wrote, “Your excellency sir @GboyegaOyetola when will you congratulate the Incoming governor of your state @AAdeleke_01 … in 2018 my uncle congratulated you even though it was stolen … do the right thing baba .. one love.”

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) certified Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party, as the winner of the July 16 governorship election in Osun State.

Adeleke received 403,371 votes, defeating Oyetola, the state’s current governor, who received 375,027 votes.
