At around 10:42 a.m. on Saturday, Bola Oyebamiji, the All Progressives Congress candidate for governor of Osun State, cast his ballot in his Ward 09, Unit 011, Ikire, in the Irewole Local Government Area.
The large number of voters in line at the polling place cheered him on when he arrived.
In a conversation with reporters following his vote, Oyebamiji expressed optimism about winning.
According to the reports he had received, he stated that the election had been peaceful thus far.
The APC candidate said, “From the reports I have gotten so far, everywhere is peaceful, and we hope it will continue like this.
“I expect that I am going to have the victory at the end of the day.”
“The INEC officials, security agencies and voters are present, and everything is under control.” Oyebamiji said.

We remain hopeful that this level of organization and stability will continue to define the proceedings, ensuring a transparent and peaceful election outcome.
