People May Not Like Us But Things Are Changing In Our Country Today – Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu has acknowledged the difficulties the country faces and promised Nigerians better times ahead, while expressing hope about the administration’s progress.

Speaking on behalf of National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu at the Executive Intelligence Management Course 17 graduation ceremony held on Saturday, December 7, at the National Institute for Security Studies in Abuja, Tinubu provided an overview of his government’s initiatives.

“Things are happening in our country today. People may not like us. They probably will disagree with one or two. But fundamentally, things are changing. And Nigeria will change,” he said.

He highlighted the difficulties facing the economy, emphasizing the government’s determination to address them. “The economy is changing. Very tough, very difficult, very huge challenges we are facing. But I can assure you, better days are ahead of us,” he stated.

Additionally, Tinubu reiterated his administration’s dedication to maintaining national security and stability. He issued a warning that anyone with dubious morals, both inside and outside of Nigeria, would be held accountable.

“If you are a bad man, whether you are inside Nigeria or outside, you are in trouble. We will go after you. We will bring you to justice,” he stated.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
