The electricity generating facility, which collapsed at exactly 11:27 a.m. on Wednesday, left many in darkness and the former governor of Anambra state has condemned the incident, stating that it is “a compelling catalyst for leadership change.”

Obi also spoke on the bread bakers‘ ongoing nationwide strike, resulting due to the rising cost of baking materials, also previously reported by Agnesisika Blog

Peter Obi wrote on his Twitter, “Reports that the national power grid has collapsed for the 6th time in 7 months is alarming. Once again, many Nigerians have been left grope around in darkness without electricity.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
