‘Pimp My Ride’ To Return To TV Screen

A new series of the favourite auto mobile show will debut this month on MTV UK’s YouTube channel

MTV UK has announced pimp My Ride Will return as a six-part digital series on YouTube. The UK version of the reality show originally ran over three seasons from 2005 to 2007, adapted from the US version hosted by Xzibit.

For the reboot, Birmingham rapper Lady Leshur will take over hosting. The car changes will be made by Wrench Studios, backed by eBay, which has partnered with MTV for the new six-part series.

Speaking about the series, Leshur said: “I am very happy to be a part of this new series. pimp My Ride, The original series was such a big part of my childhood, so I’m happy to be on such a great show that was a big part of my life. With a bunch of heartwarming stories on the way, get ready to witness some of the weirdest makeovers ever. ,

The new series of pimp My Ride is spread over six 15-minute episodes and will be released on Friday 19 August on MTV UK’s YouTube channel.

Leshur has made several TV appearances in recent years, including as a contestant on the reality show dance on ice And celebrity circle, She was also the team captain on the ITV2 Rap Panel game show don’t hate playaz from 2018 to 2020.

Leshur who spoke to NME Last year, said she was focusing on TV appearances because “music has happened to me so much that it’s no longer my passion”.

She continued: “You can’t expect that from someone who’s doing music, as long as I’m still making up all the time. I’m just learning about my life at the moment.”
