Police Arrest Woman For Pouring Hot Water On Husband

Following a domestic dispute in the Agbonchia community of the state’s Eleme Local Government Area, the Rivers State Police Command detained a woman, Godslove Olakada, who poured hot water on her husband, Olakada Ejire.

While her husband was being rushed to a hospital in Aleto Eleme, where he is currently receiving medical care, the suspect was detained on Saturday, October 14, 2023.

A heated argument reportedly broke out after the woman accused Ejire of failing to give her the N15,000 that was supposed to be divided between them and their kids from the host community dividends.

The mother of two became upset by the situation and threw hot water on her husband’s face and attempted to flee.
