On July 31 in Lagos, a highly anticipated boxing rematch between celebrity rivals Portable and Charles Okocha is scheduled to rekindle their long-running feud.
The fight, called “Unfinished Business,” was formally announced by Balmoral Promotions on Tuesday. It will be held at the Balmoral Convention Centre on Victoria Island.
Another fight between Agbaje and Musa was also planned, and the event organizers promised an exciting evening when they posted an announcement on Instagram.
“Africa, the stage is set. Now, we settle the score. Portable. Charles Okocha. Agbaje. Musa. Four fighters. One ring. No more talk,” the announcement read.
For Portable, who is hoping to recover from the first loss of his celebrity boxing career, the rematch comes at a pivotal moment.
At Chaos in the Ring 4, the singer lost his title to streamer Carter Efe after all three judges gave his opponent a score of 30–27.
Prior to that setback, Portable had been unbeaten in celebrity boxing, winning two boxing titles with victories over Speed Darlington in 2025 and Charles Okocha in 2023.
Okocha and Portable have been at odds since 2023, when the singer accused the actor of not paying him roughly ₦40 million from a business deal.
We wish Portable and Charles Okocha the very best of luck in their upcoming rematch. May the fight be fair, exciting, and full of sportsmanship. Here’s to a thrilling showdown and continued success for both fighters!
