President Joe Biden Tests Positive For Covid 19 The Second Time

According to the White House physician, The President Of the United States, Joe Biden has tested positive for Covid-19 a second time and is now back in isolation.

The doctor attributed the result to “rebound” positivity from the treatment the US president received.

Following four days of negative tests, the 79-year-old Biden “tested positive late Saturday morning, via antigen testing,” and “will reinitiate strict isolation procedures,” according to a memo from the president’s doctor, Kevin O’Connor.

According to O’Connor, “This in fact represents ‘rebound’ positivity,” referring to a circumstance in which patients taking the drug, ‘Paxlovid,’ test positive for Covid 19 after finishing their treatment.

He added, “The president has experienced no re-emergence of symptoms and continues to feel quite well. This being the case, there is no reason to reinitiate treatment at this time.”

The initial positive test result was received on July 21. Three days later, O’Connor said that Biden had tested negative for the virus and was no longer required to isolate.
