Release Mohbad’s Body, Autopsy Results, Bella Shmurda Urges Police

Nigerian artiste, Bella Shmurda has appealed to the Police to release the remains of his late friend, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

Taking to his X account late Saturday, Bella Shmurda expressed concern over the prolonged delay in the release of Mohbad’s body, which has been held for autopsy for the past two months.

He appealed to the Police to expedite the process and release the body to facilitate a dignified funeral arrangement. Additionally, Bella Shmurda requested the prompt disclosure of the autopsy results.

Bella Shmurda wrote, “It’s been over 2 months since Moh died and his body was taken in for autopsy but yet no result, which is fine but please release his body. That boy needs a befitting burial and to go to rest. finally, Naija Police , what’s going on? we need an answer here: where is the result? Where is his body?”

The investigation into the demise of the musician is ongoing, with the Nigerian Police having exhumed the body for an autopsy. Despite more than a month passing, the Police have not disclosed any new findings from the autopsy that could contribute to resolving the case.

Mohbad died in September under questionable circumstances, with videos of the singer being bullied and assaulted resurfacing after his demise.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
