Rema, Asake, Nicki Minaj To Headline 2024 Afro Nation Festival

Rema, Asake, and Nicki Minaj are among the headliners for the 2024 Afro Nation festival.

The event is scheduled to take place from June 26 to 28 at Algarve Portimao in Portugal.

The organisers, in a post via X on Monday, announced the three music heavyweights in a list containing a plethora of notable artistes who will be performing at the event.

“#ANP2024 phase 2 is here!!

🇵🇹

🎶 The Queen of Rap, @Nickiminaj will turn Portimão, Pink with an amazing performance!! 🎀 💗,” the organisers wrote.

Other performing acts include Omah Lay, Tyla, J Hus, Flavour, Diamond Platnumz, Odumodublvck, Seyi Vibez, The Composerz, and Tyler ICU.

Afro Nation is an annual event celebrating Africans in the diaspora. The event is considered one of the biggest music concerts globally.

Last year, the organisers of Afro Nation canceled the first-ever concert in Nigeria — scheduled at Tafawa Balewa Square between December 19 and 20,

The organiser, however, did not provide details for the cancellation.

“It has become clear to us that it is currently not possible to deliver a show that is of the quality that Nigeria deserves in December 2023,” they wrote.

Asake was the centre of attention at the 2023 edition after he jumped into concertgoers that failed to catch him.

Expect nothing but the best when you have incredible singers performing.

Live with Purpose, Love with Passion. Remember to be happy

One ❤️❤️❤️
