Royal Fans Boo Prince Harry And Meghan During Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee Service Of Thanksgiving

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were booed on Friday as they returned to the UK together for the first time in two years for Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee service thanksgiving.

A little excitement initially greeted the exiled royal couple’s exit from St. Paul’s Cathedral for Thanksgiving’s national service – just to be quickly drowned out by the chorus of shouted boos.

A similar stir erupted when the couple arrived for the National Service of Thanksgiving since officially leaving royal life two years ago.

At the same time, he also appeared to receive a frosty welcome from the other royals – with Harry’s brother, Prince William, and wife Kate sitting far away from him inside the cathedral.

For the church service, Meghan wore a white hat with a white hood and Prince Harry wore a suit decorated with patches of his military achievements across his chest. They were photographed holding hands as they entered the Church of St. Paul.

Their first return to their old home since leaving in March 2020 was a private April visit with the Queen ahead of the Invictus Games but today is the couple’s first public appearance to celebrate the monarch’s 70 years on the throne. The celebrations on the occasion began on Thursday with a parade and beacon lighting.
