Russia Responds To Trump’s “Angry” Remarks About Putin

The Kremlin has issued a response to US President Donald Trump’s statements expressing that he is “very angry” and “pissed off” with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Trump’s comments were in reference to Putin’s position on placing Ukraine under a “temporary administration” and ousting Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky from his position while the two countries strive to reach a peace agreement.

Commenting on these remarks during a Monday briefing, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov noted that some of the phrasing was reworded instead of being exact quotations, recognizing that “several various statements” had been expressed.

Per Peskov’s statements, Moscow persists in collaborating with Washington on restoring bilateral ties and achieving peace in Ukraine.

“We continue to work with the American side, first of all, on building our bilateral relations, which suffered enormous damage during the previous administration,” Peskov informed journalists during a routine conference call.

“We are also working on implementing some ideas related to the Ukrainian settlement. The work is underway, so far there are no specifics that we would have to inform you about.”

When questioned about the potential for a conversation between the two leaders within the week, Peskov indicated that it is not yet on Putin’s agenda but could be very quickly arranged “if necessary.”

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.
