Russia Warns Trump Against Supporting Israel’s Bombing Campaign Against Iran

The Russian government has cautioned the United States against endorsing Israel’s bombing operations targeting Iran.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov stated on Wednesday that U.S. military support for Israel could significantly destabilize the situation across the Middle East.

Interfax news agency quoted Ryabkov as saying that Russia warns the U.S. against providing such assistance to Israel—or even contemplating it.

He noted that the Kremlin was maintaining communication with both Israel and Iran.

The caution came as U.S. officials suggested that Iran has 24 to 48 hours to capitulate to avoid American intervention as President Trump contemplates joining Israel’s conflict.

White House officials indicated that the next two days will be pivotal in determining whether Washington and Tehran can reach a diplomatic resolution to the escalating crisis in the Middle East.

Trump posted on Truth Social yesterday that he knew the location of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Hosseini Khamenei but would not initiate a strike ‘yet’. He then added ‘UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER’!.

Israeli officials have also promised a ‘surprise’ on Thursday night, akin to its pager attack on Hezbollah leadership.

As Trump convened with advisors in the White House Situation Room on Tuesday, ABC News reported, citing insiders, that the President has grown increasingly frustrated with Iran’s response since Israel commenced bombing on Friday.

The outlet also reports that the President is keen to avoid a scenario where it appears Iran has challenged his resolve.

A White House spokesperson confirmed that U.S. forces in the Middle East remain in a ‘defensive posture’, despite significant military activity involving the movement of ships and planes to the region’s borders.

However, Donald Trump is contemplating a U.S. strike on Tehran following crisis talks in the Situation Room with security advisors regarding the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran.
