“Russian Army: Forgive Them Lord For We Will Not” – Ukraine

The Ukrainian military has pledged revenge following Russian missile attacks on Odesa early on July 23 which caused damage to at least six residential structures, a Ukrainian Orthodox church, and “architectural monuments” in the UNESCO World Heritage Cities.

“Dozens of cars were damaged, facades and roofs of many buildings in the city were damaged and windows were blown out,” Ukraine’s Southern Operational Command said in a statement on Telegram.

“Several craters have been formed in the city. There are power outages, which may hamper traffic, and the route of public transport may be changed.”

According to the statement, at least one person was killed and at least 19 were injured.

“Another 19 people including four children were injured. Eleven adults and three children were hospitalized while the rest are being treated on an outpatient basis,” the statement said.

On Sunday morning, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry published a video showing destroyed structures along with the statement, “God should forgive the Russians because they won’t.”

Terrorists from Russia once again targeted Odesa last night. Six residential structures were demolished, while numerous other structures in the city’s core suffered damage. 19 people were hurt, and there was at least one fatality. The Odesa Cathedral was damaged in the assault. “Forgive them, Lord, because we will not,” the Defence Ministry posted.

Ukraine has been battling over the past week to fend off a series of Russian attacks against Odesa as its air defence systems in that section of the country are unable to handle the kinds of missiles that Moscow has employed to assault the region.

Russia launched strikes on southern Ukraine over the course of just four days, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who revealed on Thursday that about 70 different types of missiles and nearly 90 Shahed drones were employed.
