Chinedu Nwadike, a prominent Igbo gospel artist, is dead.
The gospel musician died on Sunday afternoon in Abuja, according to reports, after succumbing to blood cancer.
Nwadike reached out for help earlier this month after being hospitalized at the Zenith Medical Centre in Abuja for Chronic Kidney Disease.
Before he died this afternoon, he had recovered from his kidney problem and was scheduled to be flown to India this week for treatment of his blood malignancy, Leukemia.
Darlington Chidera Ibekwe, Prince Chinedu Nwadike’s friend and President of Darlington Ibekwe Organization, confirmed Prince Chinedu Nwadike’s death on Facebook on Sunday afternoon, revealing that the late singer died of blood cancer.
The gospel singer is married to Sorochi Dora, and they have three children together.
