In the midst of her divorce with Dalton Gomez, Ariana Grande has made a list of her demands.
In court documents obtained by E! News, the 30-year-old pop artist has requested that her prenuptial agreement be followed with spousal maintenance and property division after only two years of marriage.
Along with “miscellaneous jewelry and other personal effects,” the ‘Thank U Next’ singer, whose net worth is estimated at $240 million, has also requested “earnings and accumulations of petitioner before marriage, during marriage, and from and after the date of separation.”
She and Gomez will split the cost of the legal representation, the site said.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Grande alleged “irreconcilable differences” while Gomez reportedly filed his own divorce case almost simultaneously. Their split was scheduled to occur on February 20, 2023.
After the first announcement, insiders allegedly told TMZ that the divorcing couple had “worked everything out” before appearing in court. The duo, according to insiders quoted on the website, “have been caring and respectful of one another throughout this process,” thus there are no ill-willed sentiments between them.
Grande and Gomez, both 28, announced their separation in July, with a source telling Page Six at the time that “they came to the decision collectively. Before January, they were having issues, but they still wanted to be best friends.
Following the revelation of Grande’s relationship with her ‘Wicked’ co-star Ethan Slater, he almost immediately filed for divorce from wife Lilly, with whom he had a 13-month-old kid.
Grande’s breakup became public knowledge after she was photographed in London visiting the Wimbledon tennis championship without her wedding band.
Later, according to Page Six, Gomez visited the singer in the UK in January while he was filming the “Wicked” movie to repair their marriage, but “it didn’t work out.”
At the time, a source alleged: “Their friends and families have been trying to protect them, and they have been really good friends throughout the entire process.”
Early in 2020, amid the epidemic, Grande and Gomez were romantically involved. However, their romance reportedly encountered a snag when Covid restrictions were relaxed and the luxury real estate agent was said to be “taken aback” by Grande’s busy work schedule.
When Grande attended a Jeff Goldblum concert in London in April, it was the last time she was seen wearing her wedding band in public.
