Shakira And Gerard Pique To Separate

According to Emilio Pérez de Rozas of El Periodico, Barcelona centre-back Gerard Pique and his long-term partner Shakira have been living separately for a couple of weeks.

Shakira saw Pique cheating with another woman a few weeks ago, according to De Rozas, who participated in a live video stream of the podcast Mamarazzis, which is posted every Wednesday on the El Periodico newspaper’s Instagram and Facebook accounts.

Pique is said to have moved out of the residence he had shared with Shakira.

For several weeks, the former Manchester United star has been residing in his bachelor pad.

According to the source, Pique has a “party lifestyle” and frequents nightclubs such as the Patron and Bling Bling in Barcelona, and the duo may soon ‘separate.’

While the authenticity of De Rozas’ comments is unconfirmed, he said: “That is why she (Shakira) would’ve made the decision to separate.

“That is so. It has happened. That is why there is distance. Perhaps there is nothing left, but that [infidelity] has passed.”
