Britney Spears has revealed some thrilling news.
The 43-year-old pop superstar shared on social media that she has officially welcomed a baby girl through adoption.
The announcement was accompanied by a video showcasing Spears dancing in her home.
“I want to let you guys know I adopted a beautiful baby girl !!! Her name is Lennon London Spears,” Spears wrote in the caption of the video.
Spears mentioned that Lennon was dressed in an “adorable dress” that said “I’m NEW HERE !!!” though she did not include any clips of the little girl.
Previously, some observant fans had spotted a baby carrier in the background of another one of her dancing videos.
While the adoption news might seem unexpected, it’s not the first time Spears has expressed her desire to adopt.
Back in January, Spears shared a now-deleted Instagram video where she stated in the caption, “I’ve decided I’m going to adopt a baby girl !!!! I’m actually serious !!!”
